January 2024 helloI learned the craft of bladesmithing from Bob Kramer, a world-renowned master bladesmith known for his intricate hand-forged knives. I carved the knife’s anatomy using belt grinders of various coarseness. Then, I hardened the blade with a heat torch and heat treated it in the oven. Finally, I polished it with a bench grinder and successfully cut through paper to test the blade’s sharpness!
